2000 Hyundai Accent wont shift into overdrive

my Accent will not shift into overdrive, it shifts ok in all the other gears, it seems to be electrical or a fuse anyone have any clues, i dont think anything is wrong with the transmission itself, help

Is the check engine light on? This could be a output speed sensor going bad, but it should set a code in the computer. If the light is on, have is scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most will do it for free. Let me know what code they find.
