car would not start. Engine turns over but will not start car. Car had battery replaced by Hyundai service center two days prior for a shorted battery and bad plug wires.
both items replaced with Hyundai parts. 50 miles later car will crank but will not start. car towed to Hyundai and checked. fault codes state 16 faults. is it possible that the bad battery damaged the ECM and it now needs repair / replacing? This is suggestion by Hyundai service. Being this is a 900.00 repair, I would like a second opinion. What other possibilities could there be?
