MY GEARS KEEP SLIPPING, EITHER WHILE I AM DRIVING OR WHEN I AM AT A STOPLIGHT. ITCAUSES MY CAR TO RUN AT VERY HI RPM'S. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY WILL ONLY COVER THE TRANSMISSION SYNCROS UNDER THE 100,000 MILE WARRANTY. WHAT ARE THOSE AND HOW LIKELY IS IT THAT THA IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM?

Hi there,

The syncros are an internal part of the gear box that slows the gears down while you change gears to help stop crunching them, I would be thinking that your problem is clutch related.
