1997 Hyundai Accent Car will not start.

My car repeatedly and consistently does not start especially in the morning. When I turn the key it tries to start but fails, if i leave it for a couple of hours it usually starts. it's going on for the last few months on and off. Is there a common problem with this type of car...
ps. It has a 1.3L engine, I didn't understand what CYL meant. Please help.

Hi Nial,

CYL = cylinder.

Did the CEL showed up while driving?

Difficult starting are usually caused by the crank and cam sensors. If the fuel pressure is low, it would happen too.
