1995 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Automatic

Dear Sir,
My car is turning off in traffic.I wait about 2 minutes then I turn it on again. If I dont have possibility to drive quickly( I mean im still stuck in traffic) it will turn off again.I took it to a mechanical, he put it on scanner. He didnt find anything wrong!
SO what might be the reasons, and why only it turns off in TRAFFIC, when im driving on highway everything is fine.
Hope to get a reply soon.
Thank you!

Your mechanic is correct. It could be many things. I would start by checking for vacuum leaks and then check the fuel pump pressure if no vacuum leaks are found. Here is a how to for checking pressure:

Let me know what you find.

Joe

PS: The gauge needed can be rented from many nationally recognized parts stores.
