Electrical problem
2002 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

This happened 2 times to my Hyundai accent last week: when I break strongly, the car shuts down because the fuse for the fuel pump goes. I have been to the service, but they can't give me an immediate answer. What's the problem?

There is no quick answer. There has to be a short in the wiring to the pump or in the pump itself that is affaected when you stop quickly. They need to check for ground problems or shorts to the pump and in the pump itself, and the pump is in the fuel tank.
