After replacing the Hydro booster, the pedal sank to the floor?

So, I replaced the hydro boost and when I started up the truck, the pedal sank to the floor. I shut the truck off and tried pulling the pedal back up, it’s really hard to pull up but if you slowly do it it’ll lift but the second it’s started it sinks back down.

It sounds like the hydro booster is defective, but can I ask if the power steering is working? Here are the instructions on how to replace the hydro booster correctly in case you need it. Did the old part do the same thing or was it just leaking? Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to the problem so we can see what's going on.
