Hello, the hydraulic power unit assembly/hydraulic pump has failed, how much should I expect to spend to get it repaired? How labor hours will this replacement take?

Hello,

The brake hydraulic power unit can cost anywhere from $500.00 for used ones to $1,200.00+ for OEM new part.
If I remember correctly the replacement unit will need to be programmed to the vehicle otherwise it will not function properly. Typically, that type of work needs to be done at the dealership.
As for the labor it will depend on the shop labor rate as they vary from place to place. Typical labor hours can be 2-3 hours as they will have to bleed the brakes and program.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
