How do I release the presser on the cylinders behind the wheels? I tried to change brake pads and did not clamp the line so the cylinder is preventing me fitting the wheel brakes back on properly. Please help

Clamp a line? What are you referring to? That is not part of any procedure. Are you working on front or rear, disc or drum brakes? Why do you think there is pressure in the lines? If there is pressurized brake fluid, that brake is applied.
