I changed the blend door and noticed that the direction piece was off?

i changed the blend door and noticed that the direction piece that changes were heat/AC was off of the pins that allow it to turn. is there an easy way to align it into the right slots?

You can connect the blend door actuator and turn the key on to work the controls to help move the actuator into position of the door pivot control rod. Can I ask which one you are replacing of the three? Here are the instructions of the blend door actuator in the images below. Let us know what happens.
