Yep, here is the location of the mode actuator which is up high on the HVAC plenum on the drivers side. Also, here is a guide on how to recalibrate the HVAC as well.

Do you know if the installation requires taking the radio out?

The mode actuator is the top actuator on the left side of the HVAC box. You get to it from below. You remove the lower isolator panel under the dash, then reach up to get to the actuator. No radio removal needed. Just to be sure the mode door is the one that selects where the air comes out, either floor, dash or defrost. Just want to verify that is the one you are looking for.
