HVAC is not blowing through the middle vents?

There is zero air flowing through the middle vents. All other functions work perfectly. The heater works properly, and A/C works great. Air comes out from windshield vents and bottom vents with good pressure. There is ticking from the passenger side when the air is on. The ticking started before the vents stopped getting airflow.

From what I could find it's possibly the mode actuator and not the blend door actuator. If so, I need to know where it's located and instructions to fix it.

Also, I'm interested in finding out how many actuators my car has and their specific jobs.

You are right, the mode actuator sounds like it is bad. It can make noise and still work as the gears are starting to break down. Here is a generic guide to help you see what you are getting yourself into with specific instructions in the diagrams below for your car:
