HVAC control module installation

I’m installing a refurbished HVAC control module do I have to match up the settings from the one I am removing to match on the new one or will it automatically move according to the settings on the new one? For example the fan is on low the hot and cold part is on the hottest setting and the other other mode is on defrost.

Hi,

According to the directions from prodemand, it is a plug and play set up. There is no indicator for programming and so on.

If you look at the two attached pics, they show directions which are vague, but as mentioned, show no relearn procedure or requirements for presetting the unit.
