Hello,
There is a knocking sound under my dash when I am turning on the AC. We have established that it is an actuator but do not know which. We know where the blend door actuator is, where are the other two located? I have been looking for a YouTube video on how to replace. We do not think it is the blend door one (the easiest to get to) because we do not feel the clicking on the actual actuator itself. So that is why we are trying to locate the placement of the others. Can you help? Thank you!

Hello,

This is a very common problem, the ticking is the plastic gears inside the actuator are broken.

Here is a guide that will give you an idea on how to replace the actuator:

Below are diagrams for you car.

Once you have it apart put your hand on each one while the ticking it going on this will tell you which one.

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken
