I shut it off and a half hour later it works fine for an hour or so then it slowly stops again but you can hear the fan still blowing.

Hi,

When it works normally, are you able to change the airflow direction normally? I ask because there are several different actuators that control temperature, air flow direction, and fresh/recirculated air. See pic 1 below. I don't see how any of them would stop air flow completely.

I realize the blower motor continues to run, but is there a change in sound? I'm questioning if there is a nest near the blower motor that eventually is blocking the airflow. Have you removed the blower motor to see if there is anything that got into there and is moving around? If not, it may be a good thing to check.

If you look at pics 2 and 3, they are the directions for the removal of the blower motor. There are only three bolts that hold it in. It is behind the glove box on the passenger side.

Let me know.

Joe
