Hi,

It sounds like there is an issue with one of the blend air door actuators. However, I need to know something. You indicated the driver's side is hot, and the passenger's side is cold. Which of the two is working correctly? Let me know. Otherwise, I don't know which is causing the problem. LOL

Just to give you an idea of how an actuator is replaced, take a look through this link. It explains in general how one is replaced.

I also will need to know if the vehicle has automatic or manual climate control.

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.

Joe

Okay, so the passenger side isn't responding when heat is requested. If I misunderstood, let me know.

If you look below, the directions indicate the procedure for replacing the actuator. Take a look through it and let me know if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

Joe, I have the glove box, the duct for passengers floor removed. I can see a actuator with the gears facing to the drivers side. It works fine. Is the one i'm looking for behind the console? Do I have to remove any parts of the console? Thanks, jw38
