When accelerating and let off the noise get louder but when turning it almost stops.

More than likely this is a wheel bearing or another bearing. By turning you are loading and unloading the bearing and the fact that it makes the noise when accelerating and decelerating, I suspect it is a bearing in the differential. However, the wheel bearings are easiest to check so I would start with those.
