Ever since we changed the brakes( front and back) and put two new to tires on in the front it has been making a humming noise when driving. Sometimes you do not hear it right a way but then you do. When I turn the wheel to the left It kind of seems like it gets a little louder. My oldest boy would tell you it sounds like a race car in a way. But what would be the cause of It? And second question is, if different size tires get put on the car would it hurt the car?

Hi Ashley,

The tires could be cupped making the noise you describe, here is a guide to help you.

Also it sounds be the bearing hub needs replacing.

Best, Ken

Different size tires could impair handling, geometry of steering, etc.
