2006 Hummer H3 Automatic 5800 miles

How exactly do you change the speedo sensor on an 2006 Hummer H3? It's and automatic 3.5L, base package. I have a problem with the speedometer not registering in the car, and shifting is off and I'm hoping changing it will fix both these things.

Why don't you go to a auto part's store like auto zone and see if you have a code for the speed sensor and we will go from there.Let me know the code number's if you have any.

I actually went to a shop and had them run a diagnosis on it and he said that it was a problem and needed replacing.
