it acts like the battery is dead when trying to start it but the battery is ok and all electrical systems work fine it is when you turn it to the start position nothing happens. when you first turn it it starts to start then goes dead. i had the ignition replaced because of the key not comming out about 6 months ago. it worked fine till a couple weeks ago. the gm dealer could not find anything wrong. have a pro check he fusible links by the starter. You may ave burnt one and if the right one goes, the car won't start but most everything else wiill work. It may be a bad connection there as well. What you hd replaced was the ignition lock not the switch. the swich is near the bottom f the steerng column. You may have the nuetral safety switch not aligning right also. Sometimes you need to wiggle the gearsihift to get it to start as well.
