How to reset immobilizer

Car battery is dead. Electronics are not working. Door locks do not work with remote. Had to unlock driver's side door with the key. When booster cables are connected from another car, electronics work, but car will not start. Instrument panel illuminates and indicates attempted theft and immobilizer activated.

How do I reset the immobilizer, with the hood open to allow the booster cables to remain connected so the car has power?

Hello,

I would install a new battery so jumpers are not needed, but before you reconnect the negative cable turn the key on. This should reset the security system. Here is a guide to help walk you through the battery install and diagrams below to show you how on your car:
