how to reset immobilizer

Sometimes when i want to start the car the car will not start and the red and green light in the front miror wil go flashing. how can I reset my immobilizer. please if some one can help me I do not have any money to take it to a garage. thanks, Kallie

Hi KALLIE,

The best way to reset the immobilizer is to roll all of the windows up and exit the car. then lock the car using he fob. Next let the car sit for twenty minutes. Then unlock the car using the fob. This should do the trick.
