How to replace the water pump?

The car was constantly leaking coolant and overheating. I was told to replace the water pump and thermostat. I would love guidance and instruction on how to do so.

Sure, you will need to drain the cooling system and disconnect the negative side of the battery before you begin, also the timing belt will need to be removed so you might as well get a new one and the timing belt tensioner as well. Here are the instructions on how to change the timing belt, water pump and thermostat out so you can get back on the road. Check out the images (below).
