Does anyone know a detailed and simple method for replacing the shock absorbers on the car? I have replaced the shock absorbers with another GMC using the method I read on some forums before. In the end, it took me several hours to replace it, not successfully and finally got it installed by the repair shop, and it cost me $200. I wanted to save money, so I bought the front shock absorber from LOBO ZEAN this time, so I want to know if I can replace the shock absorber successfully by myself. Method, if the operation is as easy as possible...

Hi,

This truck has a strut assembly with an integral shock. Did you only purchase the shock or did you get the entire assembly? If you look below, number 3 is the shock only. The other components are the rest of the assembly.

If you only have the shock, you will need a spring compressor and it can be dangerous if you aren't careful.

If it is the entire assembly, that makes it a lot easier, so let me know so I know which way to go.

Take care,

Joe
