How to remove engine to repair rear oil seal

Much oil leak during motor operation running at rear center of motor. Or quote under $600.00 to replace rear oil seal.

Book time on that repair is nine hours on a 4WD with automatic transmission and a 3.0 V6. Not much better for 2WD.

Basically you have to drop out the transaxle, then remove the flexplate to get to the seal. Remove and replace the seal and reinstall the trans-axle.
To see the entire process you may want to get a subscription to Alldata or Mitchell to get the same information in the FSM. They are about thirty dollars for a year of access for a single vehicle and give you great access to the process and information.
