I have tried & tried...did you ever get yours off? I can't seem to get to the screws either. If you finally got yours off, could you please share? I'm beginning to wonder if it will NEVER come off. Thank you in advance!!

in pic I originally sent item 3 needs to be removed to get armrest up if there are rivets in it then they need to be removed to get item 3 off then gain access to armrest screws. then rivets need to be reinstalled after repair.

No, I was not able to. The diagram shows these screws come out, however the only thing that even resembles a screw is this picture which is actually the spring . I cannot figure out to remove. I finally just recovered the console

Hello,

To remove the arm rest you need to remove the lower liner inside of the console. the bolts for the hinge are under that.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

If you get the arm rest off, how do you remove the pad from the arm rest to replace the skin?

Can you upload pictures of what you are talking about? Top and bottom then I can tell you how to get it apart for upholstery.
