How to locate Bank 1 CMP sensors?

Code P0344 CMP sensor A circuit intermittent (Bank 1 or single sensor)

Need to figure out if bank 1 is the front of back of engine.

Bank one are the sensors at the rear of the engine on the head closest to the firewall. The easiest way to be sure you have the right ones is to look at the wire colors. They all share the reference voltage on the Violet w green wire and ground on the green with white wire. The differences are the signal leads. Bank 1 S1 uses a Brown w blue while bank 1 S2 uses green with brown. Intermittent issues can be a pain to track down. Common ones with these are failed shielding and damaged wires. Bad connection pins are also common.
