My car has a rough idle and stalling problem. Was misfiring so had the spark plugs and leads changed now it won't idle and stalls. When warm it will stall and not start again until the next day or for several hours. Had it checked for leaks, all okay.

Need to know how to pull the error codes without a scanner (i.E. Which pins to bridge in order to get codes).
Thanks

That should be the old obdI, the 12 pin diagnostic link connector. Use a paper clip opened up, stick in A and B. Then turn the key to run, engine off and count the check engine light flashes. It will flash 12, 3 times, any codes 3 times each, then return to flash 12, 3 times when done. A 12 is a flash, pause flash, flash for a 1 and a 2 or 12.

Thanks, will pass that onto my mechanic. Any idea what could be wrong if it doesn't have any codes?

Thanks again

I cannot believe your mechanic doesn't know how to pull OBDI codes.
Try a new fuel pump relay, check the fuel pressure.
