I recently had error codes for misfiring and have replaced all the spark plugs. Now I am getting the P0010 Code and had AutoZone read the code- Camshaft position "A" actuator Circuit bank 1, failed oil control valve circuit. Open of short circuit condition, poor electrical connection.
How do I fix this code? I assume that I did not get a connection back on well enough but want to make sure before trying to fix myself.
Thanks

I have to be honest, if it isn't a wiring issue caused by your work, I strongly recommend having a trained tech who has access to a scanner work on this problem. This can turn into a nightmare.

First, possible causes include:

possible open or short in oil control valve circuit (OVC) bank 1

OVC for intake camshaft bank 1

Bad ECM
Let me know your questions.

The code from auto zone did say camshaft position "a" actuator circuit bank1- failed oil control valve circuit. Possible cause open or short circuit condition. Poor electrical connection - failed OCV. Is there an easy fix?

Not really. Like I said, check wiring.
