Hello,

It looks like you with need to support the engine from up top and drop the cradle. Here are some diagrams (below) of the job being done. Also a guide to give you an idea on what you are in for when doing the job.

Hello, I need the procedure for the removal of the automatic transmission on the car listed above. I need to rebuild the transmission. Does the transmission come out through the wheel well? Thank you!

The transmission is removed from below, the engine is supported with a frame over the engine bay and the sub frame or K frame is removed, the transmission then can be removed from below. I would suggest that you purchase a work shop manual as this will show you all the points you need to know, what tools are required and plenty of pictures to assist you. I have this here, but for a big job like this it would take many pages of typing and pictures to get it all to you, get the manual, they are not expensive and you will have a reference to any thing else that you need.

That should be fine. I have many Haynes manuals in my workshop. I have no problem with them.

Nope best thing here is to either rent manual for a week on our site look under manuals or buy one form auto parts store
