How to change APP sensor?

I'm having a dead spot when pulling off from a stop in my gas pedal. Then all of a sudden, it'll speed up. And when going at a faster speed and I try and accelerate to speed up it'll jerk and if I let up or the acceleration it'll smooth out. No check engine light. Changed throttle body. Lightning bolt went off. I'm wondering if the pedal sensor would be the problem.

It could be but usually the car will go into limp mode when this happens, we should run the codes to see if any are stored.

Here is how to change out the throttle position sensor in case you want to try replacing it. It looks like one electrical connector and three mounting nuts. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to the problem so we can see what's going on.
