Hello. There are two different engines for this car. A 4 cylinder 2.4L engine and a 6 cylinder 3.4L engine. I'm attaching instructions for the 3.4L V6 engine and will follow up with another post regarding the 4 cylinder engine.

Attached you will find screenshots of AllDatas instructions for the job. They do assume a level of experience and mechanical abilities. The link below is a decent YouTube video.

I'll gather the 4 cylinder information next.

For the 4 cylinder engine, the best video I found is actually for another GM car with the same engine. The process should be similar.

Again, I'm attaching AllDatas information on the subject too.

A couple of tips.

No matter which engine you have, it is vitally important to clean the mounting surfaces and make sure that any remaining old gasket pieces are gone. Failure to do so will result in a leak and having to do it all over again.

Also, I personally always use gasket sealer/maker in conjunction with the proper gasket. This helps seal things up even better as well as helping you to keep the gasket stuck in place. Again, this is optional, but strongly recommended.

Good luck to you. Be sure to come back any time.
