Is it something I should consider doing myself? How much should it cost me to get it done at a shop?

Good evening,

I do not know your ability but you need a lift, transmission jack and air tools to remove the transmission.

As far as an estimate, You have about 7.5 hours in labor and around $350.00 in parts.

You would be looking at about $1,200.00 to $1,300.00 for the job at a shop.
