How many transmission mounts in my car

I saw two transmission mounts on the side of the transmission, one each both sides. But I don’t know if there are more because most cars have more than two.

Good afternoon,

There is one on the front of the motor, one on top of the motor and 2 on the transmission.

I attached pictures and the procedure for you.

Roy from the diagram it’s hard to tell but does my transmission have the same mounts for the transmission or are they different? Just making sure, according to GM there is just one transmission mount. So that would be the same part for 2 on the transmission?

There are 2 mounts. One on the front and one on the rear.

The parts are not showing the second mount. Good chance they do not make it anymore.

I attached the picture of the left one.

They are worn out. I just replaced all the motor mounts, figure might as well replace the transmission mounts too before they get worse.

There are 2 mounts for the motor. The one on the bottom and one on the top.

Is that the one you replaced?

I replaced the one on the bottom and there are two strut mounts on top of the engine in my design. So replaced them both.

Good. Then I would replace the one that is listed for the transmission.

So the transmission support, mentioned by GM is the rear transmission mount. That is called the transmission mount support that they don’t make anymore. The transmission mount is still available. It wouldn’t hurt to just replace the one mount right? As the other one is just a support and it shouldn’t wear out should it?
