How many catalytic converters are in my car

I want to know specifically if my car has 2 or 4 catalytic converters.

It looks like you have 2 but the emissions label will tell you for sure. See images below. The emissions label I attached is an example. If you take a picture of it I can tell you for sure how many you have.

If it's the base model 3.7 it has 2 converters, one for each cylinder bank, then a set of resonators behind them. Then there is the crossover. Then the rear section of the system with dual mufflers.

So if I change the exhaust midpipes and keep my stock catalytic converter, will I still pass the smog check in California?

As long as the stock catalytic converter is there you should be good.
