How do you change the thermostat on a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado 2WD truck?

Cannot figure out to remove the existing thermostat and replace.

You have to go through the bottom of the inner fender well. (driver's side). Once there, you have to use an extension on the ratchet with a swivel end to access the inner housing bolts. Have you located the thermostat?

You get at it through the left wheel housing. Safely raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel housing liner.
Number 4 in the picture is the thermostat housing.
