How do I remove belt molding on rear door?

Trying to replace a broken black piece of trim on my car listed above.

22671222 Applique

I need to remove the rear door outside window belt molding to install it.
I have no Idea how to remove this piece of molding. Any help?

Hi,

If you are referring to the door weather stripping, it should be a push fit with very little adhesive. There is usually a channel in the weather stripping that fits over a pinch weld on the door.

Let me know if that is what you are referring to.

I am referring to the window belt molding trim that is chrome and rubber that spans the window opening on the outside of the door.

Hi,

Just to jump in, this is called the belt outer sealing strip.

I am attaching the info below on how to remove this.

You need to remove the screw from the front of the strip that I think you need to remove the door panel to access.

Then it slides backwards and pulls up.
