Automatic shifter knob removal

There is a cable attached to it and I don’t know how to remove it. may someone please help? My car is the GTS model.

Hi Elsy,

Looks like that is the wiring harness that goes to your O/D button on the shifter.

Here is the procedure but if you don't need to take the shifter apart, you can unhook it from down on the transmission and just pull it out as one piece. That may be easier.
