Recently did an oil change and I noticed some extra smoke recently. I added some Lucas stabilizer and now it smokes like crazy. The impeller has movement but what made it fail so quickly?

Hi,

Was the smoke from the exhaust and does the vehicle have any history of oil consumption? I know there were engines being replaced on the 2.7L turbo vehicles.

I need to know what size engine this has and if any diagnostic trouble codes were stored. Here is a link that shows how to check for codes:

Let me know.

Yep, they just do, because the turbo spins so fast when it goes bad it does so very quickly which will cause the aforementioned smoke. This is a common problem with these trucks, I would replace both turbos to fix the problem, here is how. I show one right the opposite side is similar. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
