how can I check the oil pressure without taking the side of the engine apart?

2001 BUICK REGAL

Trying to find out if my oil pump is working. I changed the slipped bearings but don't want to remove the oil pump if I don't have to.

remove the pressure switch, install gauge and start engine. we have no pics of it it's on righ tside of engine above transzxle
