Got off freeway after traveling 65mlhr for 15 miles. Cabin floor over fuel tank felt hot, I opened fueling cap and it hissed, heat came out and I could see gasoline bubbling. Waited for Van to cool off a bit and checked oil (had oil changed and fluids topped off 6 weeks ago) there was no oil on the stick! What's going on?

Check for fault codes in the ECM.

Check for any signs of running too hot or too rich.

Also check the exhaust / catalytic converter for restrictions.

Pull the plugs and check which cylinders are burning oil. Usually #1 and #6
but I had a golf in not too long ago that burnt oil in all cylinders.

Check for ash deposits on the spark plugs, this will be an indication that the cylinder is burning oil, are there any external leaks?
