It doesn't show overheating. But my car smells hot when I run it and under the hood felt hot when I checked the oil.

Hello,

What you can do to check to see if your vehicle is overheating or not is to get a infrared thermometer (which you can pick up online for around $15.00 to $20.00) and point it at the top radiator hose to get an accurate temperature of the engine. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
