Can you tell me which actuator/s need changed to effectively correct my problem? I'm hoping it's not the passenger actuator on the top and right under the duct work.... Please help!

That is the blend air door actuator. Yes, it's under the dash near the heater core. Not an easy one to replace.

Should I go at it from the top, cut the duct right of center, or from underneath?
Either way, where can I find an exploded view of the dash assembly?

I don't have a schematic for you... sorry. As far as access, it should be under the dash on the passenger side.
