A/C not working

I turn the knob to cool and still blows hot air. Turn it to A/C low and high and still blows hot air. Thanks for any help.

There are a few things that will cause this, so we need to start with the basics so that we don't miss something.

Any time the AC is blowing warm we must start with checking the pressure. The most likely cause of this is the freon is low.

So, checking the pressure is going to tell us the correct direction to go.

Once we know what this is on the high and low side, we will know what may be happening. Just make sure the compressor is actually kicking on if its not then we should see low static pressure but if it is coming on and no change the compressor is most likely the issue.
