Air conditioner does not work. Heat comes out of vents even when off.

Try pulling hvac fuse in car it may be the blend door actuator and this will reset it. Leave out for 60 seconds. If actuator is ok then the blend door shaft may be broken. There is a shortcut for that if you are so inclined. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know what happens.

It may not be a broken door take the actuator off and see if you can feel it move it may be just a bad actuator unless you have already found that the actuator moves.

After looking at this and your things with actuator door have you even seen that the compressor works? Does it have pressure and does the large pipe leaving the evaporator under hood get frosty or feel cold when a/c is on? That may be the problem because I've been assuming that the a/c is in working order check that if compressor doesn't work then check fuse and relay underhood they will be marked for position on underpart or top of fuse box.

Have this scanned for codes your blower motor module may be bad and letting blower motor work when it shouldn't . I have no further suggestions or comments
