I am putting a new rear valve cover gasket on the intake manifold. Underneath it there are two rubber hoses. They go on metal lines that are part of the intake the hoses go down where the thermostat is. I am not sure what line goes where does it matter which one goes where the steel lines are the same size.

Thank you

Hello RANDY1955,

They sound like coolant lines. I would mark them with a sharpie or a white paint pen, so they go back where they came off. A piece of masking tape would work as well.

If you can send me a picture, I would be happy to look further for you. I just don't have anything on my end showing them.

Thank you,
Brendon

Hello RANDY1955,

My information is telling me there are a couple of vacuum lines there so as long as everything is the same size, you should be fine to reconnect them in any order.

Please let me know if I can help any further.

Thank you,
Brendon
