Will the engine from a 1990 eagle talon fit into a 1992 sonata gl? The talon is a standard and the sonata automatic. If so what kind of problems arise and the solutions? Thank you Regards Rod L.

2.0 L engine is similar and would fit but external components of the engine might be required to be reused.

Intake off the sonata to be used and a change of the oil cooling system where the oil filter is and as long as the trany is original with the sonata. Anything else? Thank you

Flywheel/drive plate have to be reused.

Other than that, there should not be much else.
Before installation, put engine side by side and recheck for any differences that might require swapping.
