Underground garage flooded 2 weeks ago with my car and MC.I.5 feet of water, with some sewage (according to adjuster) settled waterline on wall. Motorcycle had trickle 1.5 Yuasa charger hooked to it that was in cinder block. Red Power light was still on but not yellow or green lines. Unit supposedly has circuit surge protector. Did not start bike. Had it towed to dealer a week ago and awaiting call. Car totaled even though it started and not too much water in interior.

Hi,

As far as the car, if you feel it really wasn't damaged, can you purchase it back from the insurance company? Usually, they will sell it back at a very low price.

Now the motorcycle is another story. If you have a chance, let us know what you hear from the shop. I'm interested in knowing. Normally, we don't deal with motorcycles, but all engines function under the same principles, so I look forward to hearing what they tell you.
