My car has been stalling when I pull up to a stop light or stop sign. It's got about 150,000 miles and is a standard. It has good days where it doesn't have any issue at all and then out of nowhere it'll have bad days where I can't let the engine idle down or else it will just die. The check engine light only comes on every now and then. Is this an O2 sensor problem or what?

If the CEL comes on at all, it should have a stored code or two. See about getting them pulled from the computer. The EGR valve, take a wack at that and remove it and clean it. Also check out the PCV.
