code 12 causes, stalls under load ck. eng light comes on will die will restart run good for a mile or more then repeat same prob.

12 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System.

Find the EGR and open it up and clean all the carbom in there to include the manifold passages and make sure it getting vacuum at the right time thru the vacuum solenoids.
